CO 36: Solve the samplings related problems and also do various comparisons between them.
CO 37: Compare systematic sampling with stratified sampling and SRS in the presence of a linear trend and evaluate their relative efficiencies.
CO 38: Analyze the population and solve the numerical problems using various designs of experiments.
CO 39: Deal with non-existing and missing population values.

- To select a SRS with and without replacement
- For a population of size 5, estimate population mean, population mean square and population variance. Enumerate all possible samples of size 2 by with replacement and without replacement and establish all properties relative to SRS
- For srswor, estimate mean, standard error, the sample size
- Stratified Sampling: allocation of sample to strata by proportional and Neyman’s methods Compare the efficiencies of above two methods relative to SRS
- Estimation of gain in precision in stratified sampling
- Comparison of systematic sampling with stratified sampling and SRS in the presence of a linear trend

Note: Practical exercises will be conducted on the computer by using Excel.
