The Department of Mathematics & Statistics organized a workshop on "Introduction to Vedic Mathematics" aimed at providing students with insights into the ancient yet incredibly efficient system of mathematical techniques known as Vedic Mathematics. 

The workshop focused on introducing students to the principles and applications of Vedic Mathematics, enabling them to solve mathematical calculations easily, including basic calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of large numbers within seconds, along with techniques for finding roots and square roots.

The workshop was conducted by Dr. Ekta Mittal, a respected faculty member in Mathematics, the workshop provided participants with fundamental Vedic Mathematics techniques through interactive sessions, allowing them to learn shortcuts and tricks for mental calculations and thereby enhancing their computational skills. With 30 enthusiastic participants from various semesters, the workshop garnered appreciation from attendees who noted its transformative impact on their mathematical approach and newfound confidence in problem-solving. 

Overall, the workshop emerged as a resounding success, equipping students with valuable insights and practical skills in applying Vedic Mathematics techniques to tackle mathematical problems with ease and speed.
