A survey on Patient Satisfaction in Private and Government Hospitals was done by students of Statistics at The IIS UNIVERSITY between 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The aim of the study was to understand the patient satisfaction in government and private hospitals. Questionnaire was prepared by the students. The questionnaire was circulated to the college students and teachers and responses were collected. Data was analyzed using statistical software excel and SPSS.

It was concluded that patients who receive their medical care in private hospitals are more satisfied compared with patients being treated at government hospitals. It was also suggested that average waiting time both for private as well as government hospitals need to be reduced. This study helped the students to use the statistical tools practically.
