A guest lecture was organized by the department of Statistics on 22nd August 2019.The honorable guest was Prof. Amita Sharma, former head, Department of Statistics, University of Rajasthan. The guest lecture began with welcome address by student of Statistics department. Prerna Jain introduced and welcomed Professor Amita Sharma, resource person to deliver the lecture.

Ma'am enlightened the students about the importance of Statistics in real life and its practical approach. She also explained basic Statistical terms and gave an idea of various government Statistical organizations. She also gave a brief introduction to various Statistical softwares and their uses. The session was ended with the heartily thankful speech delivered by student in association for taking the time to educate the students.
