The Department of Statistics organized “Sankhyiki Samagam”, an orientation program for newly admitted undergraduate students. The session began with a warm welcome to the freshers, followed by an introduction to the department, faculty members, and the academic environment. Students were informed about their class schedules, lab facilities, course credits, and examination schemes (CA & SEE), along with guidance on accessing the library resources.

To make the session more interactive and engaging, students from III^rd and V^th semesters conducted a series of fun games, including “Imposter Among Us, Cup Game, Dumb Charades, Head-Shoulder-Knees-Toes, and Pick the Bottle”. These activities created an atmosphere of joy and friendly competition, encouraging participation from all.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a shared sense of excitement for the academic journey ahead. The orientation successfully blended information with entertainment, ensuring that the students felt welcomed and motivated.
