Title: Orientation Program for Undergraduate Students

Department of Statistics organized an orientation program for the newly admitted UG students. Students were briefed about the department, faculty profiles, location of classes and labs, scheme of examination (CA & SEE), and the library system (including online access) by additional head Ms. Surbhi Gupta. Also, the information regarding the subject-wise course credits, PO-CO (Program Outcomes-Course Outcomes), University and departmental websites, students' timetable, and the syllabus was explained by Mr. Nikunj Sharma. The main objective of the program was to make the students aware of the academic aspects of the course and the rules and regulations of the college.

Students of IIIrd and Vth semesters organized engaging and fun games for the sem I students. Games played included 'Sample Flip ', 'Balancing balloons', ‘Guess the Word' and ‘arm wrestling’. All students took part in the games with enthusiasm.

A feedback form for the orientation was shared with the students. The orientation was highly successful, bringing joy to each student.
