Prelim Round (23rd September 2025)
An entrance test was conducted on 23/09/2025 to select the IISU team for inter university quiz, in which 45 students from various undergraduate programs took part. The results were announced on the same day at 4 p.m. Four pupils in all were chosen. These students were divided into two teams, each with two members, and these two teams took part in the major event, "DataMatics 2025."
Inter University Quiz (7th October 2025)
Day 1 featured the Inter-University Quiz Competition, comprising five rounds focused on Statistics and Mathematics. A total of 20 teams from various universities across Jaipur registered for the event, out of which 11 teams participated. Each team consisted of two members, and participants were asked to report by 9:30 AM. The judging panel included- Dr. Pooja Choraria, Dr. Surendra Kumar Agarwal and Dr. Rajni Gupta.
All participating teams competed in the first three rounds, after which eight teams qualified for the fourth round. From there, five teams advanced to the final (fifth) round, where the top three teams emerged as the winners.
Results:
Team Light Legends from IIS (Deemed to be University), Jaipur secured the first position in the quiz competition, followed by Team Roshni Raiders from S.S. Jain Subodh P.G. College, Jaipur, and Team Lantern Leaders from IIS (Deemed to be University), Jaipur, who secured the second and third positions, respectively.
Prof. T. N. Mathur, Vice Chancellor of IIS (Deemed to be University), Prof. P. J. John, Dean Sciences, Prof. Ritu Jain, Director, School of Physical Sciences, along with the judges, honoured the winners with trophies and certificates. Overall, the Inter-University Quiz Competition was a grand success.
First Position: Team LIGHT LEGENDS: PRIYA YADAV, RASILA AGARWAL (IIS DEEMED TO BE UNIVERSITY, JAIPUR)
Second Position: Team ROSHNI RAIDERS: YASHAN MITTAL, RAVINDER SINGH (S.S JAIN SUBODH PG COLLEGE, JAIPUR)
Third Position: Team LANTERN LEADERS: ANSHIKA MEHTA, AKANKSHA JUNEJA (IIS DEEMED TO BE UNIVERSITY, JAIPUR)
Inter-School Quiz (8th October 2025)
On Day 2, an Inter-School Quiz Competition was organized. The event comprised five rounds covering various topics in Statistics and Mathematics.
A total of 15 teams from different schools across Jaipur registered for the competition, and all participated enthusiastically. Each team consisted of two members, and participants were asked to report from 8:15 AM onwards. The judging panel included Dr. Pooja Choraria, Dr. Surendra Kumar Agarwal, and Dr. Rajni Gupta.
The first two rounds were played by all participating teams, after which 12 teams qualified for Round 3. Following this, 8 teams advanced to Round 4, and finally, 5 teams qualified for the fifth and final round. The top three teams of the final round were declared the winners of DataMatics 2025.
Result:
Team Infinity Integral from Rukmani Birla Modern High School, Jaipur was declared the winner of the competition, followed by Team Falcon Functions from Vardhman International School, Jaipur, and Team Thor Theorem from Maheshwari Public School, Jaipur, who secured the second and third positions, respectively.
Prof. Raakhi Gupta, Pro Vice Chancellor and Registrar, Prof. T. N. Mathur, Vice Chancellor of IIS (Deemed to be University), Prof. P. J. John, Dean Sciences, Prof. Ritu Jain, Director, School of Physical Sciences, along with the judges, honoured the winners with trophies and certificates. Overall, the Inter-School Quiz Competition was a huge triumph.
